Greet and welcome clients to the Designer In Training Salon with a positive and friendly attitude.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized salon environment for a comfortable and enjoyable experience for clients.
Participate in ongoing training and education programs to develop skills and knowledge in hair styling, cutting, coloring, and other salon services.
Provide excellent customer service by listening to and understanding clients’ needs and preferences, and offering professional advice and recommendations.
Collaborate with senior stylists and salon manager to learn and implement new techniques and trends.
Handle basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining client records.
Uphold high standards of salon sanitation and hygiene to ensure the health and safety of clients and staff.
Assist with promoting and marketing salon services and products to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Continuously strive to improve and perfect skills through self-directed practice and constructive feedback from senior stylists.
Represent the salon and JCPenney brand positively by adhering to company policies and procedures and upholding a professional image at all times.
