Conduct pre-flight checks and inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.
Assist the Captain in all aspects of flight planning, including route selection, weather analysis, and fuel calculations.
Monitor and maintain communication with air traffic control and other ground personnel.
Handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner, following standard operating procedures.
Act as a safety-focused role model for the entire crew, promoting a culture of safety and adherence to regulations.
Collaborate effectively with the Captain and other crew members to ensure a smooth and efficient flight experience for passengers.
Continuously monitor and assess all flight systems and equipment, taking appropriate action if any issues arise.
Uphold the high standards of customer service and professionalism that British Airways is known for.
Stay up-to-date with all company policies, procedures, and regulations, and ensure compliance at all times.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
Hold A Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (Atpl) With A Current Type Rating For A Long-Haul Aircraft, Such As The Boeing 777 Or Airbus A380.
Have A Minimum Of 1,500 Hours Total Flight Time, With At Least 500 Hours On A Multi-Engine Jet Aircraft.
Possess Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, As Well As The Ability To Remain Calm Under Pressure And Make Quick Decisions In Emergency Situations.
Meet All Medical And Physical Requirements Set By British Airways And Regulatory Authorities.
Have Previous Experience As A First Officer On A Commercial Airline, Preferably With Experience On Long-Haul Flights.
