Lead the development and implementation of RISC-V hardware standards within the organization.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in RISC-V technology and ensure our hardware products are compliant with these standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and drive adoption of RISC-V hardware standards across the industry.
Manage a team of experts and provide guidance and mentorship to ensure successful execution of projects.
Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to promote the adoption of RISC-V hardware standards.
Conduct research and analysis to identify potential areas for improvement in our hardware products and processes.
Provide strategic direction and contribute to the overall technical roadmap for RISC-V hardware standards at Qualcomm.
Act as a subject matter expert on RISC-V architecture and provide guidance and support to team members and other departments within the organization.
Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Develop and maintain internal documentation and training materials related to RISC-V hardware standards.
Communicate regularly with upper management on project updates, challenges, and opportunities.
Represent Qualcomm at industry events and conferences to showcase our leadership in RISC-V hardware standards.
Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
In-Depth Knowledge Of Risc-V Architecture: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background And Expertise In The Risc-V Instruction Set Architecture, Including Its Features, Extensions, And Implementation.
Extensive Experience In Hardware Design: The Director Of Technical Standards Should Have Significant Experience In The Design And Development Of Complex Hardware Systems, Including Socs, Processors, And Microcontrollers.
Proficiency In Industry Standards: A Deep Understanding Of Industry Standards And Specifications Related To Risc-V, Such As The Risc-V Foundation’s Technical Specifications And Risc-V Compliance Test Suite, Is Essential For This Role.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: The Director Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Engineers And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams, So Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills Are Crucial.
Prior Experience In Technical Standards: Previous Experience In Developing Technical Standards And Specifications, Preferably In The Semiconductor Industry, Is Highly Desirable For This Role.
