Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on buildings, equipment, and systems throughout the university campus.
Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Conduct inspections and identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
Utilize various tools and equipment to complete maintenance and repair tasks.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Coordinate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and materials.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with special projects and renovations as needed.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and other university members to provide excellent customer service.
Stay updated on industry developments and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Uphold the university’s values and mission through professional conduct and service.
Take on additional responsibilities or duties as assigned by supervisors.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Qualifications
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In General Maintenance And Repair Work, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Institutional Setting.
Proficiency In A Wide Range Of Trade Skills Including Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, And Hvac.
Strong Problem-Solving Abilities, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Diagnose Issues In A Timely Manner.
Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals, Blueprints, And Schematics.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Team And Communicate Effectively With Faculty, Staff, And Students.
