Global MDM Solution Engineer, Data Management & Governance

Role Description:

The Master Data Management (MDM) Solution Engineer serves as the technical expert responsible for designing, developing, and implementing MDM solutions that address the needs of business stakeholders.

This role requires a deep understanding of both the product offerings and customer environments, enabling effective translation of technical capabilities into customer-centric value propositions.

The MDM Solution Engineer will support the MDM Solution product Owner by translating business requirements into technical solutions and will also define technical enablers to keep the solutions in good health. The Solution Engineer will work with providers, partners, and operational support teams to ensure standard use and availability of our MDM platform.

The role supports and collaborates with Solution Architects, Integrations and DevOps. It requires production deployment experience with data management and governance solutions, and hands-on experience with cloud data lakes, data warehouses and integrations tools.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Actively contribute to professional and reliable technology delivery for MDM systems, platforms, and processes for business globally.
• Accountable to support planning, defining, and developing high-level designs for MDM solutions
• Accountable to align with Domain Architects and assess, implement, and monitor platform capabilities and standards.
• Contribute enterprise grade and state of the art solution design and architecture standards, while maximizing re-usability, configurability, and scalability.
• Ensure top class and state of the art engineering delivery, code management, implementation of standards, striving for highest efficiencies.
• Supporting Solution Owners in developing solution roadmaps, including evaluating change, and run decisions
• Ensure the overall user experience is considered when designing and deploying new standards or solutions.

Essential Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in an IT organization, including in a role as a Solution Engineer
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Proven experience in Master Data Management platforms.
• Previous experience in enterprise grade MDM migration scenarios

Competencies and Skills:

• Tibco EBX or similar MDM technologies
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments (AWS in particular)
• Experience in one or more Middleware technologies such as SAP PI/PO, CPI, BOOMI, Mulesoft, Axway MFT or similar
• Experienced in collaborating with global teams across wide geographies
• Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills to present features and solution recommendations to senior stakeholders

Desirable Requirements:

• Degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science or related field
• Certification in and/or experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies
• Certification or accreditation in enterprise architecture
• Experience in product delivery
