Develop and implement infection prevention and control strategies and protocols to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
Conduct regular risk assessments and monitor for potential outbreaks or infections in the healthcare facility.
Stay up-to-date on current infection control practices and make recommendations for improvements.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to educate staff and patients on infection prevention and control measures.
Investigate and report any potential breaches in infection control protocols.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to infection control.
Collect and analyze data related to infection rates and implement interventions to reduce or prevent infections.
Serve as a resource for staff regarding infection control practices and procedures.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote a culture of safety and infection prevention.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to infection control.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to infection prevention and control.
Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement infection control training programs.
Stay informed about new developments and best practices in infection prevention and control.
Serve as a liaison with local health departments and other external organizations related to infection control.
Demonstrate a commitment to promoting a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Current Rn License In The State Of Florida.
Certification In Infection Prevention And Control (Cic) Or Willing To Obtain Within 1 Year Of Hire.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Acute Care Nursing, Preferably In Infection Prevention And Control.
Strong Knowledge Of Infection Prevention And Control Practices, Regulations, And Guidelines, Including Those From The Cdc, Osha, And Joint Commission.
