Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Set up and operate specialized equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures.
Prepare patients for procedures and provide education and support throughout the process.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and assist with administering medications as needed.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure proper patient care and safety during procedures.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Stay current on new techniques and technologies in the field of invasive cardiology.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and HIPAA regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the development and implementation of best practices.
Provide exceptional customer service and promote a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families.
Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and trainings.
Continuously assess and maintain equipment and supplies for proper functioning and availability.

Job Qualifications
Certification: Must Possess Current Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (Rcvt) From A Recognized Accrediting Agency.
Education: Minimum Of An Associate’s Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Experience: At Least 1 Year Of Experience As An Invasive Cardiovascular Tech, Preferably In A Cardiac Catheterization Lab Setting.
Knowledge Of Equipment And Procedures: Thorough Understanding And Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Equipment Used In Invasive Cardiovascular Procedures, Such As Angiography Systems, Intravascular Ultrasound (Ivus), And Pressure Wire Systems.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Must Also Be Able To Maintain Composure In High-Stress Situations And Follow All Safety Protocols.
