We are currently seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our residents. Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment, including washers and dryers
Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and personal laundry items according to established procedures
Distribute clean linens and personal laundry items to assigned areas
Inspect linens for stains, tears, and other damages
Report any damages or malfunctions of equipment to supervisor
Follow infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a clean and hygienic environment
Maintain inventory of linens and personal laundry items and report any shortages to supervisor
Communicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure their laundry needs are met in a timely manner
Keep laundry area clean and organized
Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure quality of care and resident satisfaction
Attend trainings and meetings as required by the facility
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families
Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the resident experience
Maintain confidentiality of resident information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude at all times
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Job Qualifications
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Previous Experience In Laundry Services, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting
Knowledge Of Proper Laundry Procedures, Including Sorting, Washing, And Folding
Ability To Lift Up To 50 Pounds And Stand For Extended Periods Of Time
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Follow Safety And Sanitation Protocols
