Monitor pool and water facilities to ensure the safety of all visitors.
Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, including performing water rescues and administering first aid.
Enforce all pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with guests and addressing any concerns or questions.
Regularly inspect and maintain pool equipment and report any issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Attend required trainings and meetings to stay up-to-date on lifeguarding techniques and protocols.
Work collaboratively with other lifeguards and staff members to ensure a cohesive and efficient team.
Help with the setup and breakdown of pool equipment and furniture as needed.
Assist with cleaning and maintaining the pool area and facilities.
Act as a positive role model for guests and promote a respectful and inclusive environment.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure a smooth and safe operation.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures and report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
Represent the Parks and Recreation Department in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Uphold the park’s reputation for exceptional customer service and strive to exceed guest expectations.
Demonstrate a genuine interest in promoting water safety and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

Job Qualifications
Must Be At Least 16 Years Of Age Or Older.
Must Have Current Certification In Lifeguarding, Cpr, And First Aid.
Ability To Pass A Pre-Employment Physical And Swim Test.
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills.
Knowledge Of Water Safety And Emergency Protocols.
