Oversee and manage the rehabilitation services department, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
Develop and implement strategic plans and goals for the department in alignment with Baptist Health South Florida’s overall mission and vision.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients by monitoring and evaluating the performance of the rehabilitation services team.
Lead and inspire a team of therapists, assistants, and support staff by providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and community organizations to promote the department’s services and increase referrals.
Monitor and manage the department’s budget, including expenses and revenue, to ensure financial sustainability.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to rehabilitation services.
Collaborate with other departments and leaders within Baptist Health South Florida to improve patient care and enhance the overall patient experience.
Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve the department’s performance and patient outcomes.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to team members to foster their professional growth and development.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure they understand their rehabilitation plan and feel supported throughout their treatment.
Handle any issues or concerns that may arise within the department, including patient complaints, staff conflicts, and operational challenges.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where diversity and inclusion are valued and promoted.
Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in healthcare and ensure that the department is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Promote and uphold the values and culture of Baptist Health South Florida in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Or Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited Program.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Rehabilitation Services.
Prior Management Or Leadership Experience In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Regulatory And Compliance Requirements Related To Rehabilitation Services.
Excellent Communication, Organizational, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Interdisciplinary Teams.
