Provide primary care to patients at the PPS Macon location in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and provide appropriate treatments and medications to patients.
Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-management techniques.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in electronic medical records.
Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of practice, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
Participate in regular team meetings and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients.
Stay updated on current healthcare trends and best practices, incorporating them into patient care as appropriate.
Provide compassionate support and counseling to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have about their care.
Collaborate with insurance providers and other organizations to ensure timely and appropriate reimbursement for services provided.
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.

Job Qualifications
Master’s Degree In Nursing: A Nurse Practitioner At Pruitthealth Should Possess A Master’s Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Advanced Degree Provides The Necessary Education And Training To Fulfill The Role Of A Nurse Practitioner.
Current State Licensure And Certification: The Candidate Should Be A Licensed Registered Nurse (Rn) And Have A Valid Nurse Practitioner Certification From Their State Board Of Nursing. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Necessary Requirements To Practice As A Nurse Practitioner.
