Dispensing medications: The primary responsibility of the Pharmacist will be to accurately and safely dispense medications to patients in accordance with their prescriptions.
Providing patient care: The Pharmacist will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by addressing any questions or concerns regarding medications and their usage, and offering advice and recommendations on healthcare products.
Ensuring compliance: The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring that all medications are dispensed in compliance with federal and state laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
Maintaining accurate records: It will be the Pharmacist’s responsibility to maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed, as well as patient profiles and drug inventory.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals: The Pharmacist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care and medication management.
Managing inventory: The Pharmacist will be responsible for monitoring and managing the inventory of medications and healthcare products, and ordering new supplies when necessary.
Counseling patients: The Pharmacist will counsel patients on the proper usage and potential side effects of their medications, as well as provide advice on over-the-counter products.
Providing training and guidance: The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing training and guidance to pharmacy technicians and other staff members to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
Participating in quality assurance: The Pharmacist will participate in quality assurance programs to ensure the safety and accuracy of all medications dispensed.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment: The Pharmacist will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment, including proper storage and disposal of medications and adhering to all safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
A Valid Pharmacist License From The State In Which The Walgreens Store Is Located.
A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Pharmacy Program.
Strong Knowledge Of Medication And Dosage, As Well As Drug Interactions And Side Effects.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills To Interact With Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment, While Maintaining Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
