Oversee and manage daily operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy operations, including maintaining proper records and handling of controlled substances.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high quality and safe dispensing of medications.
Hire, train, and supervise pharmacy staff, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure excellent customer service and patient care.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely filling of prescriptions.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to pharmacy staff.
Resolve any customer complaints or concerns related to pharmacy services.
Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in pharmaceutical regulations, and make necessary adjustments to operations.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field: A Pharmacy Manager At Walgreens Must Have A Bachelor’s Degree In Pharmacy Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Manage A Pharmacy.
Current Pharmacy License: The Candidate Must Have A Valid And Current Pharmacy License In The State Where The Walgreens Store Is Located. This License Is Necessary To Dispense Medication And Oversee The Pharmacy Operations.
Previous Pharmacy Management Experience: To Be Considered For The Pharmacy Manager Position At Walgreens, Candidates Should Have Previous Experience In Pharmacy Management. This Includes Overseeing Staff, Managing Inventory, And Ensuring Compliance With Regulations.
