Assist in the daily operations of the pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.
Receive training and guidance from experienced pharmacists to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to become a certified Pharmacy Technician.
Maintain a thorough understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Provide support to the pharmacists in ensuring safe and effective use of medications.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficient workflow.
Communicate effectively with customers, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
Participate in ongoing training and education to keep up-to-date with advancements in the pharmaceutical industry.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.

Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager or supervising pharmacist.

Job Qualifications
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Education Is Required For This Position, As It Involves Understanding And Following Instructions, Performing Basic Math Calculations, And Communicating With Customers And Other Healthcare Professionals.
State Certification As A Pharmacy Technician: Many States Require Pharmacy Technicians To Be Certified, And Walgreens May Prioritize Candidates Who Already Possess This Qualification. If Not Certified, The Candidate Must Be Willing To Become Certified Within A Specified Timeframe.
