In this role, you will be responsible for performing electrocardiograms and stress tests on patients, as well as providing accurate and timely results to our medical team. Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) on patients in a timely and accurate manner.
Conduct stress tests on patients according to established protocols.
Ensure proper placement of electrodes and recording of ECG readings.
Operate and maintain ECG and stress testing equipment.
Monitor patient’s vital signs and report any abnormalities to medical team.
Provide compassionate and professional care to patients during testing procedures.
Record and maintain accurate patient data and test results.
Communicate effectively with medical team to provide timely and accurate results.
Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on new technologies and techniques.
Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
Attend team meetings and provide input for improvement of processes.

Job Qualifications
Certified Ecg Technician: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Certification From An Accredited Institution In Ecg/Ekg Technology, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Proficiency In Performing And Interpreting Ecgs.
Experience With Stress Testing: Baptist Health South Florida Requires Candidates To Have Prior Experience In Performing And Interpreting Ekg Stress Tests, As This Is A Crucial Aspect Of The Job.
Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology: A Strong Understanding Of The Cardiovascular System, Including Anatomy And Physiology, Is Necessary For Accurately Interpreting Ecg Results And Identifying Potential Abnormalities.
Familiarity With Ecg Equipment And Software: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Various Ecg Equipment And Software, As Well As Troubleshooting Any Technical Issues That May Arise During Testing.
