Develop and implement innovative thermal processing techniques and technologies to improve the quality, safety, and efficiency of PepsiCo’s food and beverage products.
Conduct research and experiments to identify new thermal processing methods and optimize existing ones.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of new processes and technologies.
Analyze data and provide technical insights to support decision-making and drive process improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in thermal processing to continuously improve PepsiCo’s processes and products.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements related to thermal processing.
Train and mentor junior engineers in thermal processing techniques and technologies.
Identify and troubleshoot process issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
Manage and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and technical reports.
Provide technical support to manufacturing facilities and assist in scaling up new processes for commercial production.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and source new equipment and materials for thermal processing.
Participate in product development and innovation projects, providing expertise in thermal processing.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.
Continuously seek opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
Act as a subject matter expert for thermal processing within PepsiCo, providing guidance and support to other teams as needed.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Chemical Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Thermal Processing Within The Food And Beverage Industry
Expertise In Process Design And Optimization, Including Knowledge Of Equipment And Instrumentation
Strong Understanding Of Food Safety And Regulatory Requirements, Including Haccp And Fda Guidelines
Proven Track Record In Leading R&D Projects And Successfully Implementing New Processes And Technologies In A Manufacturing Environment.
