Customer Resource Associate (Remote)

Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (7:30am – 6:30pm PST, Monday through Friday)
Location: Remote (Work-from-home)
Training: Paid, with a strict no-time-off policy during training and nesting.
Position Summary:
As a Customer Resource Associate, you’ll be responsible for providing high-quality customer service in a call center environment. You will assist with customer inquiries, resolve service issues, and manage both routine and complex service matters related to Republic Services’ waste management offerings. This is a remote role with comprehensive training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete training to become knowledgeable about Republic Services’ processes, services, and policies.
- Respond to customer service calls in a professional, respectful, and efficient manner.
- Address residential and commercial service issues, including outbound calls to resolve service inquiries and equipment issues.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all calls, emails, and faxes to fully resolve customer concerns.
- Log and update service data in the company systems.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain and improve service quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of recent customer service or call center experience.
- Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are highly preferred.
- Must have a reliable internet connection (wired, no satellite or mobile hotspot).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Remote Work Requirements:
- The company provides all necessary equipment.
- A hard-wired internet connection is required (with specific minimum speeds).
- Must have a distraction-free work environment for remote work.
- Must be available to participate in video meetings and trainings.
First 90 Days:
- Limited to 2 PTO days after training and nesting within the first 90 days.
