Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in the Adult Acute Care Medicine and Telemetry units.
Utilize advanced skills and knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor and document patients’ progress and response to treatments, medications, and interventions.
Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure confidentiality.
Adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe and healing environment for patients.
Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.
Serve as a patient advocate and ensure that patients’ rights and preferences are respected.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Remain calm and professional in high-stress and emergency situations.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
Participate in performance improvement activities and strive for excellence in all aspects of patient care.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Active Rn License In The State Of Connecticut.
Current Bls And Acls Certifications.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Registered Nurse In An Adult Acute Care Medicine Setting With Telemetry Experience.
Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As Effective Communication And Teamwork Abilities.
