Provide high-quality and compassionate patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols.
Take responsibility for the well-being and safety of patients during the post-operative recovery process.
Monitor patient vital signs, pain levels, and other post-operative complications.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, and potential complications.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of infection.
Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate and respond to changes in patient condition.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Act as a resource and mentor for nursing students and new hires.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Stay informed about current nursing practices and advancements in post-operative care.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting teamwork and open communication.

Job Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Ohio.
Bls And Acls Certifications From The American Heart Association.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (Pacu).
Strong Knowledge Of Post-Operative Care And Pain Management Techniques.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
