Provide high-quality and compassionate nursing care to patients in the Adult Acute Care Medicine department, specifically in Telemetry.
Work collaboratively with a diverse patient population and interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Demonstrate strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive and individualized care.
Adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice within the Yale New Haven Health System.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and interventions.
Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Serve as a patient advocate and ensure that patient rights are respected and upheld.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in data collection and analysis.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and holistic patient care.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
Serve as a role model for nursing professionalism and uphold the values and mission of Yale New Haven Health System.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Participate in on-call and/or weekend rotations as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or other healthcare leaders.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills.
Bls And Acls Certifications.
Current Rn Licensure In The State Of Connecticut.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Adult Acute Care Medicine, Preferably In A Telemetry Setting.
