Administer infusion therapy and ensure proper dosing and monitoring of patients.
Coordinate and manage care for patients in the day hospital setting.
Utilize nursing knowledge and skills to provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients.
Monitor and document patient responses to treatment and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Educate patients and their families on their condition and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Stay current with advancements and changes in infusion therapy and nursing practices.
Provide emotional support to patients and their families during their treatment journey.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Advocate for patients and their needs within the healthcare system.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
Maintain professional standards and ethics in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
Attend trainings, conferences, and other educational opportunities to continuously enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Connecticut.
Bls And Acls Certification From The American Heart Association.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Infusion Therapy And/Or Day Hospital Setting.
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, As Well As Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced Environment.
