Welcome to the City of Pittsburgh’s ROOTS Outreach Site Manager position! We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team and play a vital role in empowering our community. As the ROOTS Outreach Site Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact by managing outreach efforts and connecting residents with essential resources and services. Plan and implement outreach strategies to engage and connect with residents of the Pittsburgh community.
Manage all aspects of the ROOTS Outreach Site, including staff, resources, and services.
Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations and agencies to provide comprehensive resources and support to the community.
Coordinate and oversee outreach events and initiatives to increase community awareness and participation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents seeking assistance, providing guidance and referrals to appropriate resources.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts and make adjustments as needed to ensure maximum impact.
Maintain accurate records and data for program reporting and funding purposes.
Develop and implement training programs for staff and volunteers to ensure quality service delivery.
Collaborate with other departments and agencies to identify and address community needs and concerns.
Act as a representative of the City of Pittsburgh’s ROOTS program and promote its mission and services to the public.
Stay informed on current community issues and trends to inform outreach strategies and services.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Handle any conflicts or concerns that may arise with professionalism and sensitivity.
Prepare and present reports to higher management on outreach activities, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement.
Continuously seek ways to improve and expand the ROOTS program and its impact on the community.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Social Work, Public Administration, Or Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Community Outreach, Program Management, Or Similar Role.
Strong Understanding Of The Roots Program And Its Goals, As Well As Knowledge Of Local Resources And Community Needs.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Community Partners And Stakeholders.
Proven Ability To Manage A Team, Develop And Implement Outreach Strategies, And Track And Report Program Outcomes.
