Develop and implement a comprehensive health care benefits strategy that aligns with Geico’s overall employee benefits goals and objectives.
Conduct thorough research and analysis of current and upcoming healthcare trends and regulations to ensure Geico’s benefits remain competitive and compliant.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including human resources, finance, and legal, to design and administer various health care plans.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of Geico’s health care benefits, including enrollment, claims processing, and issue resolution.
Provide guidance and support to Geico employees regarding health care benefits, including educating them on plan options and assisting with any inquiries or concerns.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of Geico’s health care benefits programs, making recommendations for improvements or adjustments as needed.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in health care benefits to continuously enhance Geico’s offerings and remain competitive in the market.
Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring high-quality services and cost-effective solutions for Geico’s health care benefits.
Develop and manage the department budget for health care benefits, ensuring efficient and effective use of company resources.
Serve as a subject matter expert and provide training and support to other team members and managers regarding health care benefits.
Represent Geico at industry conferences and events to network and stay informed on the latest developments in health care benefits.

Job Qualifications
In-Depth Knowledge Of Health Care Regulations And Compliance: A Sr Benefits Manager At Geico Auto Insurance Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Health Care Benefits, Including The Affordable Care Act. They Should Also Have Experience Ensuring Compliance With These Regulations.
Extensive Experience In Benefits Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Benefits Management, Specifically In The Health Care Sector. This Should Include Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Managing Health Care Benefits Programs For Large Organizations.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Sr Benefits Manager, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Data And Trends, Identifying Areas For Improvement, And Developing Strategies To Optimize The Company’s Health Care Benefits Offerings. Therefore, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Sr Benefits Manager Will Be Working Closely With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Employees, And External Vendors. As Such, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Communicate And Negotiate With These Parties.
Bachelor’s Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field: Most Employers, Including Geico Auto Insurance, Prefer Candidates With A Bachelor’s Degree In A Relevant Field. A Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field Will Provide A Solid Foundation For The Skills And Knowledge Required For This Role. A Higher Degree Or Certification In Benefits Management Is Also Desirable.
