Design and implement emulation strategies for advanced mobile technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and develop efficient emulation solutions
Develop and maintain emulation infrastructure, including hardware and software components
Troubleshoot and debug complex hardware and software issues in the emulation environment
Create and execute test plans to validate system performance and functionality
Analyze and interpret results from emulation runs to identify potential design improvements
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporate new techniques and tools into emulation processes
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers on emulation techniques and best practices
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and any potential issues
Participate in design reviews and provide valuable feedback to improve the overall system design.

Job Qualifications
Extensive Experience In Emulation: A Sr Emulation Engineer At Qualcomm Should Possess A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Emulation Methodology And Tools, With A Strong Understanding Of Industry-Standard Emulation Platforms Such As Palladium, Veloce, Or Zebu.
Expertise In Asic Design And Verification: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Asic Design And Verification Methodologies, Including Rtl Coding, Simulation, And Debug. Experience With Industry-Standard Design And Verification Tools Such As Synopsys Design Compiler, Vcs, Or Questa Is Also Required.
Strong Programming Skills: A Sr Emulation Engineer Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As C/C++, Perl, And Tcl, With Experience In Developing Scripts And Automation Tools For Emulation Tasks. Knowledge Of Systemverilog, Uvm, Or Other Verification Languages Is A Plus.
Familiarity With Protocols And Standards: Qualcomm’s Products Are Built Using Various Protocols And Standards, Such As Usb, Pcie, And Ethernet. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of These Protocols, Their Implementation, And Their Verification.
Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Sr Emulation Engineer, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Provide Technical Guidance To Junior Engineers. Strong Leadership Skills Are Also Essential To Drive The Emulation Team And Deliver On Project Timelines.
