In this role, you will take ownership of critical administrative and accounting functions while directly contributing to the efficiency and success of our fund operations.<\/p>\n<p>This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a high-growth environment while developing fund management, compliance, and investor relations expertise.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Investor Database Management:<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Create, maintain, and streamline investor databases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactively oversee receipt, reconciliation, and updates of investor information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that management fees and performance fees are allocated according to the Limited Partnership Agreements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all expenses are accrued, and all income and expense items are recognized in the appropriate tabs within the allocation file.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Fund Administration &amp; Reporting:<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Produce and manage investor investment statements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate with fund administrators to manage compliance with US federal and state regulations, including K-1 preparation, SPV fees, and fund vehicle registrations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Explore and implement strategies to optimize and automate fund administration processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Investor Relations:<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as a point of contact for investor inquiries, proactively addressing and resolving questions or requests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor client mailboxes\/distribution lists and save all necessary emails and supporting documentation in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare ad hoc client requests, including but not limited to distributions, drawdowns, and other tasks as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Collaboration:<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with the admin\/accounting team to reconcile investor lists and databases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the development and execution of operational workflows that enhance efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Compliance Oversight:<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with federal and local regulations related to fund vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Track and manage deadlines for regulatory filings and registrations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Skills &amp; Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exceptional proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets and basic accounting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong written communication skills, including email etiquette and English grammar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Sound understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and relevant procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>1-2 years experience in fund operations, accounting, or administrative roles is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Traits:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Warm, resourceful problem solver with exceptional organizational and leadership skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Detail-oriented self-starter with a \u201ccan-do\u201d mindset and ability to handle multiple priorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Fast and effective communicator, driven by helping others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Eager to explore new technologies and processes to drive operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At GenGlobal, you\u2019ll be part of a supportive team environment where your work has real impact.
