  1. Perform regular tree pruning and maintenance to ensure the health and safety of trees in the city.<\/li>\n
  2. Identify and assess tree health and determine appropriate pruning techniques.<\/li>\n
  3. Use specialized equipment and tools to safely prune trees at various heights and locations.<\/li>\n
  4. Follow proper safety procedures and guidelines while working at heights and operating equipment.<\/li>\n
  5. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute tree pruning projects in a timely and efficient manner.<\/li>\n
  6. Communicate with city officials and residents to address any concerns or questions about tree pruning.<\/li>\n
  7. Keep accurate records of all pruning activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.<\/li>\n
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry standards, techniques, and safety protocols related to tree pruning.<\/li>\n
  9. Follow all city and state regulations and guidelines related to tree maintenance and pruning.<\/li>\n
  10. Assist with other tree-related tasks and projects as needed, such as planting, watering, and removal.<\/li>\n
  11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the city and the tree pruning team.<\/li>\n
  12. Continuously strive to improve and enhance the health and appearance of the city’s urban forest.<\/li>\n
  13. Work independently and as part of a team to ensure all pruning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.<\/li>\n
  14. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.<\/li>\n
  15. Act as a knowledgeable resource for residents and visitors regarding the city’s tree pruning practices and policies.Knowledge Of Tree Care: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Tree Biology, Proper Pruning Techniques, And The Ability To Identify And Diagnose Tree Health Issues.\n

    Experience With Pruning Equipment: Applicants Should Have Experience Operating Pruning Equipment Such As Chainsaws, Pole Pruners, And Hand Saws. They Should Also Be Knowledgeable About Safety Protocols And Procedures.<\/p>\n

    Physical Fitness: Tree Pruning Is A Physically Demanding Job That Requires Strength, Agility, And Endurance. Candidates Should Be Able To Work At Heights And In Various Weather Conditions.<\/p>\n

    Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For A Tree Pruner To Effectively Communicate With Team Members And Residents. They Should Be Able To Clearly Explain The Pruning Process And Address Any Concerns.<\/p>\n

    Valid Driver’s License: A Valid Driver’s License Is Required For This Position As Tree Pruners Are Often Required To Drive To Different Job Sites Within The City. A Clean Driving Record Is Also Preferred.<\/p>\n
