Manage and maintain the City of Pittsburgh’s technology systems, including servers, networks, and software applications.<\/p>\n
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration and functioning of systems.<\/p>\n
Implement and maintain security measures to protect the city’s data and systems.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to recommend and implement new technologies and processes.<\/p>\n
Train and support end-users on the use of technology systems.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain system documentation, including standard operating procedures and system configurations.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to technology systems.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with other city departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions.<\/p>\n
Assist with technology budgeting and procurement processes.<\/p>\n
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.<\/p>\n

Knowledge Of Various Operating Systems, Including Windows, Linux, And Unix.<\/p>\n

Strong Understanding Of Networking Concepts And Protocols, Such As Tcp\/Ip, Dns, And Dhcp.<\/p>\n
