Develop and implement engaging and diverse recreational activities and programs for community members of all ages.<\/p>\n
Lead and supervise recreational activities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other Recreation team members to plan and coordinate events and programs.<\/p>\n
Act as a positive role model and mentor for community members, promoting inclusivity and teamwork.<\/p>\n
Monitor and maintain recreational equipment and facilities to ensure safety and proper functioning.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with community members, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate records and reports of program attendance, feedback, and any incidents that may occur.<\/p>\n
Assist with recruitment and training of volunteers to support recreational programs.<\/p>\n
Stay informed of current trends and best practices in recreational programming to continually enhance offerings.<\/p>\n
Uphold the mission and values of the City of Pittsburgh’s Recreation team, promoting a sense of community pride and engagement.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.<\/p>\n

Previous Experience Working In A Recreational Setting, Preferably In A Leadership Role.<\/p>\n

Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Interacting With Diverse Groups Of Individuals.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Organizational And Time Management Abilities To Plan And Coordinate Recreational Activities And Events.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge Of Safety Procedures And Protocols For Recreational Activities, Including Cpr And First Aid Certification.<\/p>\n
