Provide compassionate and empathetic support to individuals who have been impacted by violence and trauma.<\/p>\n
Work collaboratively with a diverse range of individuals and organizations to develop and implement resources and support systems for those affected by violence and trauma.<\/p>\n
Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed case records and documentation.<\/p>\n
Serve as a liaison between clients and community resources, such as mental health services, legal assistance, and financial resources.<\/p>\n
Continuously monitor and evaluate clients’ progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients as needed.<\/p>\n
Advocate for clients’ rights and needs within the community.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other members of the POST team to develop and implement strategies for preventing violence and promoting community safety.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date on best practices and resources for supporting individuals impacted by violence and trauma.<\/p>\n
Participate in regular team meetings and trainings to enhance knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical standards in working with clients and their information.<\/p>\n
Maintain professional boundaries and handle difficult situations with sensitivity and professionalism.<\/p>\n
Meet all deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.<\/p>\n
Serve as a positive representative of the City of Pittsburgh and the POST program in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and community members.<\/p>\n
