Monitor pool and water facilities to ensure the safety of all visitors.<\/p>\n
Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, including performing water rescues and administering first aid.<\/p>\n
Enforce all pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.<\/p>\n
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with guests and addressing any concerns or questions.<\/p>\n
Regularly inspect and maintain pool equipment and report any issues to the appropriate supervisor.<\/p>\n
Attend required trainings and meetings to stay up-to-date on lifeguarding techniques and protocols.<\/p>\n
Work collaboratively with other lifeguards and staff members to ensure a cohesive and efficient team.<\/p>\n
Help with the setup and breakdown of pool equipment and furniture as needed.<\/p>\n
Assist with cleaning and maintaining the pool area and facilities.<\/p>\n
Act as a positive role model for guests and promote a respectful and inclusive environment.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure a smooth and safe operation.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures and report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.<\/p>\n
Represent the Parks and Recreation Department in a professional and positive manner at all times.<\/p>\n
Uphold the park’s reputation for exceptional customer service and strive to exceed guest expectations.<\/p>\n
