Provide expert legal advice and representation to the City of Pittsburgh in various transactional matters.<\/p>\n
Conduct legal research and analysis to assist in the preparation of legal documents and opinions.<\/p>\n
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to city transactions.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and policies in all transactional matters.<\/p>\n
Represent the city in negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings related to transactions.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other city departments and outside counsel to achieve successful outcomes in transactional matters.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends in transactional law.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with city officials, employees, and the public regarding transactional matters.<\/p>\n
Provide training and guidance to city employees on legal matters related to transactions.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactional legal matters.<\/p>\n
Assist in the development and implementation of city policies related to transactions.<\/p>\n
Uphold the ethical standards of the legal profession in all aspects of work.<\/p>\n
Represent the city in a professional and positive manner at all times.<\/p>\n
Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Active Membership In The Pennsylvania State Bar Association.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Transactional Law, Preferably In A Municipal Or Government Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of State And Local Laws And Regulations.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Written And Oral Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Negotiate And Draft Legal Documents.<\/p>\n
