Develop and implement a comprehensive information security program for the organization.<\/p>\n
Provide strategic direction and guidance on all aspects of information security to senior leadership.<\/p>\n
Assess and identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.<\/p>\n
Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements to ensure the organization’s compliance.<\/p>\n
Lead the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to information security.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into business processes and systems.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify any potential weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.<\/p>\n
Monitor and analyze security systems and logs to detect any security breaches or incidents and take appropriate action.<\/p>\n
Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate employees on information security protocols and best practices.<\/p>\n
Act as a liaison with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with security standards and requirements.<\/p>\n
Manage and oversee the organization’s incident response plan, ensuring timely and effective response to security incidents.<\/p>\n
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the organization’s security posture and any identified risks or incidents.<\/p>\n
Foster a culture of security awareness and responsibility throughout the organization.<\/p>\n
Manage and mentor a team of information security professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.<\/p>\n
Continuously evaluate and improve the organization’s information security program, adapting to changing threats and technologies.<\/p>\n

Extensive Experience In Information Security: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Information Security, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Managing Security Programs In A Large Organization.<\/p>\n

Strong Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: The Candidate Should Possess Thorough Knowledge Of Industry Standards Such As Iso 27001, Nist, And Gdpr, As Well As Regulatory Requirements Such As Hipaa And Pci Dss.<\/p>\n

Strategic Mindset: The Vp, Business Information Security Officer Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing A Comprehensive Security Strategy For The Organization.
