Conduct actuarial analyses: Perform complex actuarial calculations and analysis to support business decisions and ensure accurate financial reporting.<\/p>\n
Manage financial data: Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of financial data to ensure its accuracy and relevance in informing business decisions.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain models: Create and maintain actuarial models to evaluate risk and assess financial performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
Provide expert insights: Use your extensive actuarial knowledge and experience to provide expert insights and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other departments, such as finance, underwriting, and product development, to ensure alignment and consistency in actuarial assumptions and methodologies.<\/p>\n
Monitor industry trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and inform business decisions.<\/p>\n
Mentor and train junior team members: Share your knowledge and expertise with junior team members to support their development and growth.<\/p>\n
Communicate findings and recommendations: Clearly communicate actuarial findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management and clients.<\/p>\n
Drive process improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the actuarial function and work to implement them.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field.<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Actuarial Field, With A Focus On Valuation.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Fellow Of The Society Of Actuaries (Fsa) Or Near Completion Of Fsa Designation.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of Insurance Principles, Financial Reporting, And Regulatory Requirements.<\/p>\n
