Develop and implement data governance and compliance policies and procedures for the Americas division of Reinsurance Group of America.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to data governance and privacy.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to identify and assess data governance and compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.<\/p>\n
Monitor and analyze changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure that data governance and compliance policies are up-to-date and in line with best practices.<\/p>\n
Lead and manage a team of data governance and compliance professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team’s success.<\/p>\n
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on data governance and compliance policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of data governance and compliance controls and identify areas for improvement.<\/p>\n
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and industry associations.<\/p>\n
Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other departments on data governance and compliance matters.<\/p>\n
Drive strategic initiatives to enhance data governance and compliance processes and systems, ensuring that they are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.<\/p>\n
Prepare and present reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders on data governance and compliance activities, including progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices related to data governance and compliance, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.<\/p>\n
Act as a champion for data governance and compliance within the organization, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data in accordance with established policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
