Conduct pre-flight checks and inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.<\/p>\n
Assist the Captain in all aspects of flight planning, including route selection, weather analysis, and fuel calculations.<\/p>\n
Monitor and maintain communication with air traffic control and other ground personnel.<\/p>\n
Handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner, following standard operating procedures.<\/p>\n
Act as a safety-focused role model for the entire crew, promoting a culture of safety and adherence to regulations.<\/p>\n
Collaborate effectively with the Captain and other crew members to ensure a smooth and efficient flight experience for passengers.<\/p>\n
Continuously monitor and assess all flight systems and equipment, taking appropriate action if any issues arise.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Hold A Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (Atpl) With A Current Type Rating For A Long-Haul Aircraft, Such As The Boeing 777 Or Airbus A380.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Have A Minimum Of 1,500 Hours Total Flight Time, With At Least 500 Hours On A Multi-Engine Jet Aircraft.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Possess Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, As Well As The Ability To Remain Calm Under Pressure And Make Quick Decisions In Emergency Situations.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Meet All Medical And Physical Requirements Set By British Airways And Regulatory Authorities.<\/p>\n

Have Previous Experience As A First Officer On A Commercial Airline, Preferably With Experience On Long-Haul Flights.<\/p>\n
