Conduct legal research and analysis on complex insurance law issues related to Geico’s business lines.<\/p>\n
Provide legal guidance and support to business teams on a wide range of matters, including contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, and risk management.<\/p>\n
Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, policies, and procedures.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business leaders and other members of the legal team, to identify and mitigate potential legal risks.<\/p>\n
Monitor and stay up-to-date on changes in insurance laws and regulations, and provide recommendations for adapting Geico’s business practices accordingly.<\/p>\n
Represent Geico in legal proceedings, such as litigation and arbitration, related to business line matters.<\/p>\n
Advise on legal implications of business decisions and strategies, and offer solutions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote legal compliance and minimize risk.<\/p>\n
Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for other members of the legal team and business teams on insurance law matters.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation related to business line legal matters.<\/p>\n
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Geico’s legal processes, systems, and procedures.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and regulatory agencies.<\/p>\n
Uphold Geico’s values and ethical standards in all interactions and decisions.<\/p>\n
