Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the insurance industry.<\/p>\n
Provide strategic guidance and support to the business operations of Geico Auto Insurance, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other members of the legal department to assess potential risks and advise on regulatory implications of business decisions.<\/p>\n
Monitor and stay up-to-date on regulatory developments and changes that may impact the company’s operations.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and proactively engage in dialogue and communication to ensure compliance.<\/p>\n
Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
Prepare and submit required reports and filings to regulatory agencies.<\/p>\n
Advise and assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
Conduct training and education sessions for employees on regulatory matters and compliance requirements.<\/p>\n
Represent the company in regulatory inquiries, investigations, and audits.<\/p>\n
Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential compliance risks.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that new products and services comply with applicable laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
Participate in industry conferences and events to stay informed on regulatory developments and best practices.<\/p>\n
Work closely with external legal counsel, as needed, to address complex regulatory matters.<\/p>\n
Continuously evaluate and improve the company’s regulatory compliance program.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Attorney, With A Focus On Regulatory Compliance And Engagement.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of State And Federal Insurance Laws And Regulations.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Experience In Managing And Overseeing Regulatory Audits And Investigations.<\/p>\n
