Conduct thorough and timely investigations of commercial trucking claims, including gathering and reviewing all relevant information and documentation.<\/p>\n
Evaluate liability and coverage issues to determine appropriate course of action for each claim.<\/p>\n
Provide accurate and timely communication to all parties involved in the claims process, including policyholders, attorneys, and other insurance professionals.<\/p>\n
Utilize legal knowledge and expertise to interpret policy language and determine coverage for commercial trucking claims.<\/p>\n
Analyze medical records and other relevant documents to determine the extent of injuries and damages in a claim.<\/p>\n
Negotiate and settle claims within designated authority levels, ensuring fair and prompt resolutions for policyholders.<\/p>\n
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in laws and regulations related to commercial trucking insurance.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and legal, to identify potential risk areas and develop strategies for mitigating them.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and organized claim files and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for policyholders throughout the claims process.<\/p>\n
Serve as a mentor and resource for other team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve overall team performance.<\/p>\n

Extensive Knowledge Of Commercial Trucking Laws And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Commercial Trucking, Including But Not Limited To Fmcsa Regulations, Dot Regulations, And Insurance Requirements.<\/p>\n

Previous Experience In Insurance Claims Handling: Geico Auto Insurance Expects Candidates To Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Handling Commercial Trucking Insurance Claims, Preferably In A Senior\/Examiner Role.<\/p>\n
