Develop and implement employee benefits policies and programs in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
Advise and educate management and employees on employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with all employment laws, including but not limited to Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.<\/p>\n
Conduct legal research and analysis to provide guidance on complex benefits and employment law issues.<\/p>\n
Draft, review, and negotiate employee benefits contracts and agreements.<\/p>\n
Monitor and review changes in laws and regulations related to employee benefits and employment law and recommend necessary updates to policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with HR and other departments to develop and implement strategies for attracting and retaining top talent through competitive employee benefits.<\/p>\n
Investigate and respond to employee complaints and concerns related to benefits and employment law.<\/p>\n
Conduct training for employees and managers on employee benefits and employment law matters.<\/p>\n
Represent the company in legal proceedings related to employee benefits and employment law, if necessary.<\/p>\n
Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to employee benefits and employment law.<\/p>\n
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.<\/p>\n
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through proactive communication and collaboration.<\/p>\n
Adhere to ethical standards and maintain professional relationships with employees, management, and external partners.<\/p>\n
Act as a resource and advisor to other legal team members on employee benefits and employment law matters.<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Employee Benefits And Employment Law, Preferably In A Corporate Or Insurance Setting<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Thorough Understanding Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Employee Benefits And Employment, Including Erisa, Fmla, Ada, And Flsa<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Counsel Management And Hr Teams On Complex Legal Issues And Develop Solutions That Align With Business Goals.<\/p>\n
