Develop and implement comprehensive information systems security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.<\/p>\n
Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and respond to potential security breaches or threats.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security controls for new and existing systems.<\/p>\n
Provide technical guidance and support to system administrators and other team members on security best practices.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats, and make recommendations for proactive security measures.<\/p>\n
Manage and maintain security incident response plans and procedures.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular security training and awareness programs for employees to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related inquiries and issues.<\/p>\n
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.<\/p>\n
Maintain documentation and records of security processes, procedures, and incidents.<\/p>\n
Participate in regular meetings and briefings with senior management to provide updates on security status and recommendations for improvement.<\/p>\n
Mentor and train junior ISSOs and other team members.<\/p>\n
Continuously evaluate and improve security processes and procedures to enhance overall security posture.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other ISSOs and security professionals across the organization to share knowledge and best practices.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Or Master’s Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Information Systems Security, With At Least 5 Years In A Senior Or Leadership Role.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Industry-Standard Security Frameworks, Such As Nist, Iso, Or Cis.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Technical Skills In Information Security, Including Experience With Vulnerability Assessments, Risk Management, And Security Tools.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Active Certifications In Relevant Areas, Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Giac, And A Willingness To Maintain And Update Them As Needed.<\/p>\n
