Develop and design packaging solutions for various products, ensuring they meet all safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.<\/p>\n
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify and implement cost-effective packaging materials and methods.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product specifications, customer needs, and production processes in order to develop effective packaging solutions.<\/p>\n
Create and maintain detailed packaging specifications, including dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions.<\/p>\n
Conduct testing and quality control checks to ensure packaging meets all necessary standards.<\/p>\n
Identify and troubleshoot packaging issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent future problems.<\/p>\n
Monitor packaging trends and technology advancements to continuously improve and innovate packaging processes.<\/p>\n
Partner with suppliers to source and evaluate new packaging materials and equipment.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain packaging budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising quality.<\/p>\n
Train and mentor junior packaging engineers and other team members on best practices and new techniques in packaging engineering.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.<\/p>\n
Communicate with stakeholders, including customers and internal teams, to provide updates on packaging projects and address any concerns or issues.<\/p>\n
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in cross-functional projects to drive operational excellence.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate documentation and records of packaging processes, materials, and equipment.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize packaging processes and reduce waste and costs.<\/p>\n

Bachelor’s Degree In Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Or A Related Field<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Packaging Design And Development, Preferably In The Aerospace And Defense Industry<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Proficiency In Cad Software, Such As Solidworks Or Autocad, For Packaging Design And Analysis<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge Of Packaging Materials, Processes, And Industry Standards, Including Mil-Std-2073 And Astm D4169<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Experience In Project Management, Including Leading Cross-Functional Teams And Managing Budgets And Timelines For Packaging Projects.<\/p>\n
