Develop and implement global trade strategies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.<\/p>\n
Monitor and analyze changes in global trade laws and regulations and advise company leadership on potential impacts.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure trade compliance in all aspects of the business, including supply chain, procurement, and global sales.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential trade compliance issues and implement corrective actions.<\/p>\n
Train and educate employees on global trade regulations and company policies to ensure compliance at all levels of the organization.<\/p>\n
Manage import and export processes, including obtaining necessary licenses and permits, and maintaining accurate records.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies and external partners to stay informed of any changes in trade regulations and to resolve any trade compliance issues.<\/p>\n
Lead investigations and manage any potential violations of global trade laws and regulations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.<\/p>\n
Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to relevant authorities, as well as internal stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Monitor and manage trade-related costs, such as tariffs and duties, to ensure compliance and minimize financial impact on the company.<\/p>\n
Stay current on industry best practices and proactively recommend process improvements to enhance global trade operations.<\/p>\n
Serve as the primary point of contact for all global trade inquiries and provide guidance and support to internal teams as needed.<\/p>\n
Represent the company in trade-related meetings, conferences, and events to stay informed of industry developments and maintain a strong network of trade professionals.<\/p>\n
Continuously evaluate and update global trade policies and procedures to adapt to changing business needs and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
Foster a culture of compliance and ethics within the organization by promoting awareness and understanding of global trade regulations and their importance to the company.<\/p>\n

Bachelor’s Degree In International Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Global Trade Compliance, Preferably In The Aerospace And Defense Industry<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
In-Depth Knowledge Of Global Trade Regulations And Laws, Including Itar, Ear, And Ofac<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Stakeholders And Government Agencies<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Experience In Managing A Team And Developing Global Trade Compliance Strategies For A Large Multinational Corporation.<\/p>\n
