Develop and implement a comprehensive clinical competency program for nursing staff.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the clinical competency of nursing staff.<\/p>\n
Identify areas for improvement and create targeted training and development plans.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with nursing leaders to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.<\/p>\n
Serve as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support in clinical practice.<\/p>\n
Coordinate and facilitate ongoing education and training opportunities for nursing staff.<\/p>\n
Monitor and track progress of nursing staff in meeting clinical competency requirements.<\/p>\n
Identify and address any knowledge or skill gaps through individualized coaching and mentoring.<\/p>\n
Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the clinical competency program.<\/p>\n
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among nursing staff.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate documentation and records of nursing staff competency assessments and trainings.<\/p>\n
Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and management, communicating any concerns or issues.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Active Registered Nurse (Rn) Licensure In The State Of Employment.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Clinical Nursing Experience, Preferably In A Long-Term Care Or Skilled Nursing Facility.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Bachelors Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Previous Experience In Staff Education And Training, As Well As Experience In Developing And Implementing Quality Improvement Initiatives.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Long-Term Care And Skilled Nursing Facilities.<\/p>\n
