Conduct research and perform experiments on various metals and alloys to evaluate their properties and potential for use in Toshiba’s products.<\/p>\n
Utilize knowledge of material science and engineering principles to design and develop innovative and high-quality products for different industries.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the metallurgical requirements of products are met and to troubleshoot any production issues.<\/p>\n
Analyze and interpret data from experiments, tests, and simulations to make recommendations for material selection and improvement.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in metallurgy, and implement new technologies and techniques to improve processes and products.<\/p>\n
Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations to identify and resolve any metallurgical issues that may arise.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain materials specifications and provide technical support to other departments such as manufacturing, quality control, and sales.<\/p>\n
Assist in the development of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet environmental and safety requirements.<\/p>\n
Participate in product design reviews and provide input on material selection and manufacturing processes to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.<\/p>\n
Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on metallurgical principles, techniques, and procedures.<\/p>\n

Bachelor’s Degree In Metallurgical Engineering Or A Related Field.<\/p>\n

Strong Knowledge Of Metallurgical Principles And Processes, Including Material Properties, Heat Treatment, And Corrosion.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Proficient In Using Industry-Standard Software For Metallurgical Analysis And Design.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Optimize Manufacturing Processes.<\/p>\n
