Develop and implement comprehensive security programs and strategies to protect American Airlines’ employees, customers, and assets worldwide.<\/p>\n
Lead a team of security professionals and oversee their daily activities to ensure the highest level of security is maintained.<\/p>\n
Conduct risk assessments and identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and design appropriate mitigation plans.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.<\/p>\n
Monitor and analyze security data and trends to proactively identify and address potential security risks.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including law enforcement agencies, government entities, and industry organizations.<\/p>\n
Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters, providing guidance and support to various departments and stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Develop and manage the security budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.<\/p>\n
Stay current on industry best practices and trends in corporate security, and recommend improvements to enhance the organization’s security posture.<\/p>\n
Conduct training and education programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and preparedness.<\/p>\n
Develop crisis management plans and procedures and lead response efforts during security incidents or emergencies.<\/p>\n
Prepare and present security reports and updates to senior management and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security.<\/p>\n
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork within the Corporate Security team.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In A Related Field Such As Criminal Justice, Security Management, Or Business Administration.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Program Management, Preferably In A Corporate Security Or Similar Role.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Knowledge Of Security Protocols, Risk Assessment, And Crisis Management Planning.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Proven Experience In Leading And Managing A Team, With Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Ability To Obtain And Maintain Necessary Security Clearances And Certifications, Such As Certified Protection Professional (Cpp) Or Project Management Professional (Pmp).<\/p>\n
