Develop and implement strategies for the creation of safe, affordable, and vibrant communities in Oakland.<\/p>\n
Manage affordable housing development projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including developers, community organizations, and government agencies, to identify and secure funding for affordable housing projects.<\/p>\n
Conduct research and analyze data to inform decision-making related to housing development and affordability.<\/p>\n
Coordinate with city departments and external partners to streamline processes and ensure timely completion of projects.<\/p>\n
Monitor and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of affordable housing programs and initiatives.<\/p>\n
Prepare and present reports and recommendations to city officials and stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Stay updated on local, state, and federal housing policies and regulations, and make recommendations for their implementation.<\/p>\n
Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.<\/p>\n
Engage with community members to gather feedback and address concerns related to housing development projects.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to housing development projects and programs.<\/p>\n
Participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences to represent the city and share best practices in housing development.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Housing Policies And Regulations.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Experience Managing Complex Housing Development Projects, Including Budgeting, Financing, And Community Engagement.<\/p>\n
