Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with applicable regulations and best practices.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement of workplace safety.<\/p>\n
Develop and deliver training programs for employees on safety procedures and practices.<\/p>\n
Conduct investigations and root cause analysis of accidents, injuries, and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.<\/p>\n
Monitor and analyze safety data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.<\/p>\n
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and industry best practices.<\/p>\n
Communicate and collaborate with regulatory agencies, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure compliance and promote a culture of safety.<\/p>\n
Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness in the event of an emergency.<\/p>\n
Manage and maintain safety equipment and supplies, and ensure proper usage and maintenance by employees.<\/p>\n
Lead safety committees and meetings to solicit feedback and address safety concerns.<\/p>\n
Stay informed on new technologies and processes to improve environmental health and safety practices and procedures.<\/p>\n
Prepare reports and presentations on safety performance for management and stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Serve as a role model for safety by promoting a positive and proactive safety culture.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Environmental Health And Safety, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Environmental Health And Safety Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Food Production Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Environmental Health And Safety, Including Osha, Epa, And Fda Requirements.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols And Procedures.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Experience In Developing And Implementing Safety Programs And Initiatives, As Well As Conducting Risk Assessments And Accident Investigations.<\/p>\n
