Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for patients with various mental health needs.<\/p>\n
Create and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs.<\/p>\n
Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to address issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes.<\/p>\n
Monitor and evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders and effective coping strategies.<\/p>\n
Stay current with industry developments and advancements in therapeutic techniques.<\/p>\n
Provide support and assistance to colleagues and other staff members as needed.<\/p>\n
Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.<\/p>\n
Foster a positive and inclusive environment for patients and staff of diverse backgrounds.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality and safety.<\/p>\n
Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance job performance.<\/p>\n
Serve as a role model for compassionate and empathetic care for patients and colleagues.<\/p>\n
Contribute to the overall success of the mental health department and the hospital as a whole.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Master’s Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Experience Working With Diverse Populations And Knowledge Of Cultural Competency.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Providing Therapy Or Counseling Services.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Licensed Or Eligible For Licensure As A Therapist In The State Of New Mexico.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.<\/p>\n
