Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for students, faculty, and staff to address various mental health concerns and promote overall well-being.<\/p>\n
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and goals.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other mental health professionals and university staff to provide comprehensive care and support for clients.<\/p>\n
Utilize evidence-based practices and stay up-to-date on current research in the field of mental health to provide the best possible care for clients.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with university and legal regulations.<\/p>\n
Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine the effectiveness of treatment and make necessary adjustments.<\/p>\n
Provide crisis intervention services when needed and make appropriate referrals for higher levels of care.<\/p>\n
Act as a resource and advocate for mental health awareness and support within the university community.<\/p>\n
Participate in regular supervision and attend professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n
Demonstrate a deep understanding and sensitivity to the unique challenges and experiences faced by the diverse population of the university.<\/p>\n
Maintain ethical standards and boundaries in all client interactions.<\/p>\n
Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and university staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive treatment environment.<\/p>\n
Attend and contribute to team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Continuously assess and improve personal and professional competencies to ensure high-quality care for clients.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Master’s Degree In Psychology, Counseling, Or Related Field.<\/p>\n

Current Licensure As A Therapist In The State Of New Mexico.<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Providing Therapy In A Higher Education Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Therapy Techniques And Practices.<\/p>\n
