Develop and teach courses at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute (SIPI) that align with the university’s curriculum and standards.<\/p>\n
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds, including Native American communities.<\/p>\n
Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote critical thinking and encourage student participation.<\/p>\n
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic progress and assignments.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency and alignment across courses and programs.<\/p>\n
Stay updated on current industry trends and research to incorporate relevant and practical knowledge into teaching.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and organized course records, including attendance, grades, and student progress.<\/p>\n
Serve as a mentor and resource to students, offering guidance and support outside of the classroom.<\/p>\n
Participate in faculty meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay informed about university policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
